Eddy Current technology can be used in the inspection of in-service aircraft, manufactured components and ferrous and non-ferrous tubing. Aircraft applications may include aluminum skin corrosion and surface and subsurface crack detection. Aerospace manufacturing may also require conductivity inspection for heat-treated aluminum. Other eddy current applications include automatic inspection of manufactured components for flaw detection and material sorting. Eddy Current is also used for baseline and in-service tubing inspection of ferrous and non-ferrous tubing.
